I have simplified Brioche into a way that makes this really fun technique exactly that - FUN.
You will learn:
*Foundations of the Brioche fabric.
*Brioche stitch technique & repeats.
*Difference between Brioche knitted in-the-round and flat.
*The skills, tips, & techniques necessary to read the Brioche stitch fabric while knitting.
Skill Requirements:
Participants should be familiar with the long tail cast on, knitting and purling.
Materials Needed:
Two skeins Worsted weight yarn, in contrasting colors (approx 150 yds)
Size US 8 (5mm) circular needles, 16-24" cord
Stitch Marker
Ediz Cowl Pattern
Prior to Class:
Cast on an odd number of stitches Double Stranded (holding both color yarn at the same time as one strand). NOTE: if you are doing the Ediz Cowl pattern, please cast on 95 sts. Otherwise, cast on an odd number that allows you to easily join in the round.
