Learn ALL the techniques needed to make a great pair of handknit socks! In this 3-part workshop, you’ll learn how to knit cuff-down socks perfectly tailored to your feet.
Here’s what to expect:
Class 1- Sock knitting basics, casting on, avoiding ladders (gaps), and tension
Class 2 - Learn the Simpler Sisu Heel - the fastest, easiest sock heel around!
Class 3 - Toe and ending techniques, including the Kitchener Stitch
PLUS, you'll receive 3 Knit Sisu sock patterns, as well as unlimited support throughout the month.
Upon purchase, you'll receive an automated email with a pdf housing the Zoom link
You will also receive an email directly from me with the following:
- A Sock Needle Choices video - this will help you choose which needles you would prefer using to knit your socks.
- The Simpler Sisu Sock - The Easy - pattern, which we will reference in the workshop.
- Two other Knit Sisu sock patterns!
Materials needed for the workshop:
- one skein (at least 100g/400yd) of fingering/sock yarn
- size US 1.5 needles -- either 9" circulars, DPNs, double circulars, or long cord *This is explained in the Sock Needle Choices video.
